Fighter of the Month Official Rules

No purchase necessary. You do not need to buy anything to nominate or vote. Purchases do not earn votes or badges and do not improve anyone's chances.

Dates and time zone. Each voting period runs for one calendar month, from 12:00 AM CT on the first day of the month to 11:59 PM CT on the last day of the month. The dates of the current voting period are shown on votes.imaclothing.com. All times are US Central Time (CT).
Eligibility. Anyone with a valid email address can vote. One vote per email address per month, and each person may use only one email address. Nominees must be legal US residents and may be any age. Nominees under 18 may be nominated only with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
Nominee consent required. The nominee (or their parent or guardian) must know about and agree to the nomination, and sign a written consent before becoming a finalist.
How to take part for free. Nominating and voting are free and happen online at votes.imaclothing.com. If you can't use the online form, email us at imasnowman.pg+contest@gmail.com.
Free base vote. One free vote per person per voting period. A valid email is required, and each person may use only one email.
Voting and purchases are separate. No purchase is needed to vote or earn extra votes. Purchases do not earn votes or badges.
Invite friends. After casting a free vote, each voter gets a personal invite link. When a new eligible person opens that link and casts their own free vote, the sharer gets one extra vote to give to someone else. A share-earned vote is issued only after the new voter verifies their email by clicking a confirmation link, and only if their vote passes our checks for duplicate devices, networks and addresses. We may hold share-earned votes until voting closes and remove any that fail review. Each person may earn at most 3 share-earned votes per voting period.
No social rewards. We don't reward likes, reposts, follows or comments on any social platform.
Who can't redeem a share-earned vote. A share-earned vote can't be redeemed by the sharer, anyone in the sharer's household, a nominee, or anyone in a nominee's household. One email per person; duplicate or shared emails are void, and votes from them are removed. Votes through your own link from your own other emails don't count.
Gifted vote terms. Vote codes and share links have no cash value, cannot be sold, traded, or exchanged for anything of value, and expire when voting closes. Codes or links that are sold, posted for sale, or abused are void.
Supporter milestones and badges. Badges are given for these milestones: Voted (cast a free vote), Shared (3 different eligible people voted through your share link), and Full Supporter (both). Badges are recognition only. Badges have no effect on votes or winner selection, never add votes, and have no prize or cash value. Names appear in the Supporters list only with opt-in (first name and last initial).
Limits. Each person may receive and cast at most 3 extra (share-earned gift) votes per voting period in total. Each person may earn at most 3 share-earned votes per voting period.
Vote counting and ties. The finalist with the most valid votes at the close of voting wins, after invalid votes are removed. If finalists are tied, the finalist with more verified unique voters wins. If they are still tied, that month's Fighter proceeds ($5 from every Fighter, Supporter and Survivor item sold) are split evenly between the tied finalists.
Verification. IMA Clothing Co verifies every finalist, including the patient and organizer details and their crowdfunding campaign, before the result is final. No outside partner is used.
Winner announcement. The Fighter of the Month is announced within 7 days after voting closes, once verification is complete, on votes.imaclothing.com, on the IMA Clothing X account (@imaClothingCo), and by email to the winner. Only names and stories the winner has consented to will be shared.
Fraud. IMA Clothing Co may disqualify fraudulent votes, bot votes, votes from multiple accounts or emails, and misused vote codes, and may disqualify any nomination it finds to be false.
Support amount and payout. $5 from every Fighter, Supporter and Survivor item sold during the month goes to that month's winning Fighter. It is paid within 30 days after the month ends, as a single donation to the winner's existing crowdfunding campaign. If that campaign is closed, it is paid directly to the verified organizer. If the winner fails verification or declines the funds, the proceeds go to the runner-up (the next-highest verified finalist).
